The pleasant drive should take around 4 hours. After reaching Gangtok, you would check-in at the hotel and then, spend the rest of the day at leisure. You could choose to explore the city on your own in the evening or spend the time enjoying the view of the valley from the hotel. The lake derives its waters from melting snow of the mountains, a beautiful sight to witness. Despite the colour that flows in the lake on your visit, the view of the lake and the surrounding mountains would surely leave a lasting impression.
You would also be visiting the New Baba Mandir, a shrine dedicated to ‘Baba Harbhajan Singh’, a soldier of the Indian Army.
